The Pickmere Stud has been breeding quality horses and ponies for over 30 years, every year more and more animals bearing the Pickmere prefix are successful in the Show Ring and sports world. Our reputation has been founded on using proven bloodlines with great temperaments. In all cases temperament is paramount as without a good one you will always be struggling to achieve potential. As you may have read earlier, from 2008 the emphasis of the stud will be changed slightly to reflect our continuing commitment to producing top quality ponies and small horses with a strong Thoroughbred influence who will not only win in the Show Ring, but who should also be capable of competing in the Sport world.
