Every year many Pickmere bred horses and ponies are successful in competition both in the Show Ring and the various disciplines such as BSJA Jumping, BHS Dressage and Eventing. The Stud regularly breeds from its wide range of super Brood Mares and over 15 mares are to be found in the Studs Brood Mare pool. These offer a wide variety of bloodlines ranging from pure Thoroughbred to Part Arab and Part Welsh with a variety of heights from 128cm to 158cm . The stud always has an extensive range of Youngstock For Sale, so if you are looking for a quality animal visit our For Sale page or email us with what you are looking for. The studs proprietors Pat Mather and John Keleher are always happy to discuss your requirements either by email or telephone. However please bear in mind that during the height of the Stud season April - June we may not be able to get straight back to you on email due to pressure of work but we will always try to reply promptly to telephone enquiries. From 2008 our business emphasis will be re-focused on our traditional roots of breeding and marketing our own highly successful youngstock. We will continue to make available our Stallions to visiting mares, but they will operate on limited books, in order to provide us with the opportunities to produce our own stock to a high standard.
