In the first ever National Pony Society Sire Rating Award (2007) STRINESDALE MATADOR has emerged victorious, he has won the overall prize and is best 148cm (that's 14.2 to you and I!). The award is judged on the number of successful Ridden stock that a Stallion has at National level. So great credit goes to all the breeders and owners of Matador stock, thank you one and all for doing such a great job. Congratulations also to all the owners of Pickmere bred stock who had such a successful season in 2007.We had horses and ponies competing across the board from Showing to Affiliated Dressage and Eventing. We have a variety of Stallions on offer - six in total - and you are welcome to contact us to discuss their availability. The Stud Show team will be back in contention at many of the major shows and we will be happy, in-between classes (!), to talk to you about the many opportunities there are at the Stud. We will have a large variety of Youngstock available for sale during the year, the first batch is currently being prepared (de winter woolied) and adverts will commence in March, a selection of the current stock is shown on the youngstock page, but others will be added as they are ready and of course we will hopefully have some nice foals again this year.
